Sandhya injured, but had a lucky escape

Popular South Indian actress Sandhya had a lucky escape, a few days back but did sustain some injuries and burns while canning for a film. The actress was shooting for Three Kings, a Malayalam film at one of the famous shooting spots of Kerala where her bike hydroplaned.

Sandhya with her co-star Indranjith was shooting near Chalakudy’s Athirapally waterfall. Indrajith who became famous after the film Sarvvam, joined the 21year old actress in a chase sequence and were riding a bike. There was heavy rain before the shoot and the road was slippery as a result of which the bike skidded and both the stars got injured.

While both bruised their hands, Sandhya even suffered minor burns on her legs due to the accident as they hit the silencer of the bike. The actress is prescribed to take rest for couple of days by the doctor. So Sandhya has decided to take things easy and relax in her hotel and join the shooting after she gets healed.

The actress said that it was a miraculous escape for her. While she is in physical pain, there is still good news for her. The latest film Traffic starring her and Sreenivasan is doing well in the box-office after being released last week.
Seniors halts 3 Kings' release

Malayalam movie Seniors, which was released on May 7, has made the makers of 3 Kings to postpone its release. To avoid a clash, the filmmakers of both films jointly decided to give a reasonable gap between the two releases.

Vaishakh has now decided to release 3 Kings on May 21. VK Prakash directorial movie features Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith and Jayasurya in the leads.
